Significant Achievements

Community Support During COVID-19 — “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”

ISRK arranged five chartered flights with Asiana Airlines (June 2020 to August 2022), enabling approximately 1,000 Indians — including students, professionals, and families — to travel to Korea for academic programs, new jobs, and family reunions. Online sessions were hosted to provide travel information and COVID-19 guidelines.

ISRK also facilitated full refunds for 162 passengers affected by a cancelled Air India flight through persistent engagement with Air India’s senior officials in New Delhi.

In collaboration with Merck KGaA Korea, ISRK distributed safety kits (masks and sanitizers) and office stationery to 1,000 students and researchers across universities and institutes in Korea.

Launch of SPIC MACAY Korea Chapter

ISRK partnered in the launch of the SPIC MACAY Korea Chapter on 7 February 2021, in association with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Seoul — promoting India’s rich classical music and cultural heritage.

Distinguished Indian Heroes of Science & Technology

On the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Anniversary, ISRK launched an initiative highlighting contributions of Indian scientists, featuring Nobel Laureates and recipients of Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri awards through infographics and interactive sessions.
